Never worry about underpacking. Leave out your toiletries because almost all hotels have in-room amenities prepared free for you. Whether or not you are using the amenities, there’s nothing wrong with taking them.
Here are some tips for you to reuse the amenities because it will save you on your next trip.
1. Stock your guest bathroom with extras.
Personal preference is obviously the determiner of whether or not to use the provided hotel amenities. If you decide not to use it, just take them home, and put them in your guest bathroom to serve the same hospitality experience.
2. Take it to the gym or swimming agendas
The travel-sized hotel soaps and shampoo bottles provide efficiency to carry them around anywhere. Relocate them to your gym or sports bag and just refill the bottles once they ran out—you don’t have to buy travel-sized generic shampoo or body wash anymore.
3. Repurpose them.
Some toiletries have uses other than what they were intended for. Shower caps, for example, can be used to wrap your shoes before placing them in your suitcase to clothes from the dirt. You can also use the body wash as a handwash or the toothbrush as a detailed cleaning tool.
4. Donate toiletries to a good cause.
You can also donate excess unused travel amenities around your house to your nearest domestic violence shelter, homeless, orphanage, and other organizations that needs extra sanitary.
